Thank you to all my lovely readers who have encouraged me!
I’m reblogging this post, hoping to encourage all of you. It’s been recently edited, but still holds so much value for moms. Please share this goodness!
Momma,
Your job is a hard one. It has been a hard job for all mothers, for all if time!
Our shift is 24/7 with no sick days. We’re on call in the middle of the night and early mornings. Our brains run at super speeds. All. The. Time.
We face challenges that leave us feeling helpless and out of control. And then we continue to blame ourselves for still not doing a good enough job.
Life is overwhelming no matter how much you seem to accomplish. Do you feel this way?

Yes! My mother always used to tell me “A mother’s job is never done.” I never knew the depth of that statement until I had kids. No matter how much I always feel like it’s never enough and there is always more yo be done. Sometimes I feel like I’m on the side of a hill spinning my wheels but going no where — maintaining the same level of exhaustion and insanity. It is so worth it, of course, but it doesn’t make it any less hard.
