Natural Sharpie Remover (Works on Skin)

When you show your toddler how to write their name, chances are they’ll be more inclined to practice on their own. And chances are if you have a toddler, they will find permanent markers that you didn’t even know you had.

My toddler recently practiced his A’s in Sharpie on our Golden Ecru walls. Then in few short seconds of his undercover work, he managed to add some black strokes to his face also. Sometimes I try to wash the pen ink off with a wet cloth, or let it fade with the week (instead of washing with harsh chemicals). But I’ve been using this one natural miracle remover!

They say that lavender is the “Swiss army knife of oils”, but lemon is equally as great, if not better!

I added 2 drops to a cotton round and wiped it right off his skin! Essential oils can be very strong when not diluted so it’s better to wipe off with a wet cloth afterwards.

Before

If that face doesn’t say guilty, I don’t know what else does! “But Mom, Oreo (our kitty) did it!” He’s lucky he’s so cute!

After

It works like a charm! Look, all smiles! Now we don’t have to go in public looking like a piece of artwork!
